21:1
Եւ մատեան նահապետք որդւոցն Ղեւեայ առ Եղիազար քահանայ, եւ առ Յեսու Նաւեան, եւ առ նահապետս տոհմից ցեղից որդւոցն Իսրայելի:
21:1
Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:
21:2
եւ խօսեցան ընդ նոսա ի Սելով յերկրին Քանանացւոց եւ ասեն. Հրաման ետ Տէր ի ձեռն Մովսիսի` տալ մեզ քաղաքս բնակելոյ, եւ զանդաստանս նոցա անասնոց մերոց:
21:2
And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle:
21:3
Եւ ետուն որդիքն Իսրայելի Ղեւտացւոցն ի ժառանգութիւն հրամանաւ Տեառն զքաղաքսն զայնոսիկ եւ զանդաստանս նոցա:
21:3
And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs:
21:4
Եւ ել վիճակ տոհմին Կահաթու. եւ եղեն որդւոցն Ահարոնի` քահանայիցն Ղեւտացւոց, ի ցեղէն Յուդայ եւ ի ցեղէն Շմաւոնի եւ ի ցեղէն Բենիամինի` վիճակաւ քաղաքք երեքտասանք:
21:4
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, [which were] of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities:
21:5
Եւ այլոց որդւոցն Կահաթու մնացելոց յազգականութենէ ցեղին Եփրեմայ, եւ ի ցեղէն Դանայ եւ ի կիսոյ ցեղին Մանասէի` վիճակաւ քաղաքք տասն:
21:5
And the rest of the children of Kohath [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities:
21:6
Եւ որդւոցն Գերսոնի յազգականութենէ ցեղին Իսաքարայ եւ ի ցեղէն Ասերայ, եւ ի ցեղէն Նեփթաղիմայ եւ ի կիսոյ ցեղին Մանասէի ի Բասան, վիճակաւ քաղաքք երեքտասան:
21:6
And the children of Gershon [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities:
21:7
Եւ որդւոցն Մերարեայ ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց, ի ցեղէն Ռուբենի եւ ի ցեղէն Գադայ եւ ի ցեղէն Զաբուղոնի, վիճակաւ քաղաքք երկոտասան:
21:7
The children of Merari by their families [had] out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities:
21:8
Եւ ետուն որդիքն Իսրայելի Ղեւտացւոցն զքաղաքսն զայնոսիկ եւ զանդաստանս նոցա, զոր օրինակ պատուիրեաց Տէր Մովսիսի, վիճակաւ:
21:8
And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses:
21:9
Եւ ետ ցեղ որդւոցն Յուդայ եւ ցեղ որդւոցն Շմաւոնի [351]եւ ցեղ որդւոցն Բենիամինի`` զքաղաքսն զայնոսիկ, եւ կոչեցան [352]յանուն եւ յազգ:
21:9
And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are [here] mentioned by name:
21:10
որդւոցն`` Ահարոնի, ի տոհմէ Կահաթու որդւոցն Ղեւեայ. զի նոցա ել նախ վիճակն:
21:10
Which the children of Aaron, [being] of the families of the Kohathites, [who were] of the children of Levi, had: for their' s was the first lot:
21:11
Եւ ետուն նոցա [353]զԿարիաթարբոկ զմայր քաղաքացն`` Ենակայ, այն է` Քեբրոն ի լերինն Յուդայ, եւ զանդաստանս շուրջ զնովաւ:
21:11
And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which [city is] Hebron, in the hill [country] of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it:
21:12
եւ զագարակս նորա եւ զաւանս նորա զոր [354]ետ Յեսու`` Քաղեբայ որդւոյ Յեփոնեայ ի կալուած:
21:12
But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession:
21:13
Եւ որդւոցն Ահարոնի քահանայի ետուն քաղաք ապաստանի սպանողի` զՔեբրոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զՂեբնա եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:13
Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs:
21:14
եւ զՅեթեր եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զՅեսթեմով եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:14
And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs:
21:15
եւ զԱղոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԴաբիր եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:15
And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs:
21:16
եւ զԱյին եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զՅետտա եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԲեթսամիւս եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքք ինն, յերկուց ցեղիցն այնոցիկ:
21:16
And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, [and] Beth- shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes:
21:17
Եւ ի ցեղէն Բենիամինի` զԳաբաւոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԳաբաա եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:17
And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs:
21:18
եւ զԱնաթովթ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԱղմոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքս չորս:
21:18
Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities:
21:19
Ամենայն քաղաքք որդւոց Ահարոնի` քահանայից, քաղաքք երեքտասանք, եւ անդաստանք նոցա:
21:19
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs:
21:20
Եւ տոհմից որդւոցն Կահաթու Ղեւտացւոցն` մնացելոց յորդւոցն Կահաթու, եւ եղեն քաղաքք [355]սահմանաց նոցա ի ցեղէն Եփրեմայ:
21:20
And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim:
21:21
եւ ետուն նոցա քաղաք ապաստանի սպանողի` զՍիւքեմ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա ի լերինն Եփրեմայ, եւ զԳազեր եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:21
For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs:
21:22
եւ զԿաբսեմ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ [356]զվերին Բեթորոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքք չորք:
21:22
And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth- horon with her suburbs; four cities:
21:23
Ի ցեղէն Դանայ` զԵղթեկով եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԳեբեթովն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:23
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs:
21:24
եւ զՅաղոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԳեթրեմոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքք չորք:
21:24
Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath- rimmon with her suburbs; four cities:
21:25
Եւ կիսոյ ցեղին Մանասէի` զԹանաք եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, [357]եւ զԲեթսան`` եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքս երկուս:
21:25
And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath- rimmon with her suburbs; two cities:
21:26
Ընդ ամենայն` քաղաքս տասն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նոսա, տոհմի որդւոցն Կահաթու մնացելոց:
21:26
All the cities [were] ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained:
21:27
Եւ որդւոցն Գերսոնայ, ազգականացն Ղեւտացւոց, ի կիսոյ ցեղէն Մանասէի քաղաքս զատուցեալս սպանողաց` զԳովղան ի Բասանաստանի եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԲեեստարա եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքս երկուս:
21:27
And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the [other] half tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh- terah with her suburbs; two cities:
21:28
Եւ ի ցեղէն Իսաքարայ` զԿեսիոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԴաբրաթ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:28
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs:
21:29
եւ զԵրիմովթ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ [358]զաղբեւրն Նամակաց`` եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքս չորս:
21:29
Jarmuth with her suburbs, En- gannim with her suburbs; four cities:
21:30
Եւ ի ցեղէն Ասերայ` զՄասաաղ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զԱբդոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա:
21:30
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs:
21:31
եւ զՔեղկաթ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ զՌովբ եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա. քաղաքս չորս:
21:31
Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities:
21:32
Եւ ի ցեղէն Նեփթաղիմայ` քաղաքս զատուցեալս սպանողի, զԿադէս ի Գալիլեա եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, զԱմաթդովր եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նա, եւ [359]զՆոյեմոն եւ զզատուցեալսն ի նմա. քաղաքս երիս:
21:32
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth- dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities:
21:33
Ընդ ամենայն քաղաքս Գերսոնի ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց քաղաքս երեքտասան, եւ զատուցեալք նոցին:
21:33
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs:
21:34
Եւ տոհմի որդւոցն Մերարեայ այլոցն Ղեւտացւոց, ի ցեղէ որդւոցն Զաբուղոնի` զՅեկնամ եւ զանդաստանս նորա, [360]զԿադէս եւ զանդաստանս նորա,`` զԿարթա եւ զանդաստանս նորա:
21:34
And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs:
21:35
զԴեմնա եւ զանդաստանս նորա, զՆաաղովղ եւ զանդաստանս նորա. քաղաքս [361]հինգ:
21:35
Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities:
21:36
Եւ [362]յայնկոյս Յորդանանու ի հանդիպէ Երիքովի,`` ի ցեղէն Ռուբենի [363]քաղաքս ապաստանի սպանողի`` զԲոսոր [364]յանապատին Միսովրայ`` եւ զանդաստանս նորա, եւ զՅազեր եւ զանդաստանս նորա:
21:36
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs:
21:37
[365]զԿեդսոն եւ զանդաստանս նորա, [366]զՄասփա եւ զանդաստանս նորա. քաղաքս չորս:
21:37
Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities:
21:38
Եւ ի ցեղէն Գադայ` քաղաքս ապաստանի սպանողի, զՌամովթ ի Գաղաադ եւ զանդաստանս նորա, զՄանայամ եւ զանդաստանս նորա:
21:38
And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs:
21:39
զԵսեբոն եւ զանդաստանս նորա, եւ զԱզեր եւ զանդաստանս նորա. ընդ ամենայն` քաղաքս չորս:
21:39
Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all:
21:40
Ամենայն քաղաքք որդւոցն Մերարեայ, ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց մնացելոց ի ցեղէն Ղեւեայ, եւ եղեն սահմանք նոցա քաղաքք երկոտասան:
21:40
So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were [by] their lot twelve cities:
21:41
Ընդ ամենայն` քաղաքք Ղեւտացւոցն ի մէջ կալուածոց որդւոցն Իսրայելի` քառասուն եւ ութ քաղաք, եւ անդաստանք նոցա [367]շուրջ զքաղաքօքն այնոքիւք:
21:41
All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel [were] forty and eight cities with their suburbs:
21:42
քաղաքք, եւ անդաստանք շուրջ զքաղաքօքն. նոյնպէս ամենեցունց քաղաքացն այնոցիկ: [368]Եւ վախճանեաց Յեսու բաժանել զերկիրն սահմանօք իւրովք: Եւ ետուն որդիքն Իսրայելի բաժին Յեսուայ ըստ հրամանի Տեառն` ետուն նմա զքաղաքն զոր խնդրեաց` զԹամնասաքար ի լերինն Եփրեմայ. եւ շինեաց Յեսու զքաղաքն եւ բնակեցաւ ի նմա: Եւ ա՛ռ Յեսու զսուրսն քարեղէնս որով թլփատեաց զորդիսն Իսրայելի զելեալս ի ճանապարհի անապատին, քանզի ոչ թլփատեցան յանապատի անդ, եւ եդ զնոսա ի Թամնասաքար:

These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus [were] all these cities:
21:43
Եւ ետ Տէր Իսրայելի զամենայն երկիրն զոր երդուաւ տալ հարցն նոցա, եւ ժառանգեցին զնա, եւ բնակեցին ի նմա:
21:43
And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein:
21:44
Եւ հանգոյց զնոսա Տէր շուրջանակի` որպէս երդուաւ հարցն նոցա. եւ ոչ ոք յարեաւ ընդդէմ նոցա ի թշնամեաց իւրեանց. զի զամենայն թշնամիս նոցա մատնեաց Տէր ի ձեռս նոցա:
21:44
And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand:
21:45
Եւ ոչ սխալեցաւ բան մի յամենայն բանից բարեաց զոր խօսեցաւ Տէր որդւոցն Իսրայելի, այլ ամենայն ինչ եղեւ:
21:45
There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass:
