Եւ եղեն սահմանք ցեղի որդւոցն Յուդայ ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց` ի սահմանացն Եդովմայեցւոց, [247]ի Սինն անապատէ մինչեւ ի Կադէս, ընդ հարաւակողմն:
15:1
This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; [even] to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward [was] the uttermost part of the south coast:
15:2
Եւ եղեն նոցա սահմանք ի հարաւոյ մինչեւ յեզր ծովուն Աղւոյ, ի սարոյն որ իջանէ ի հարաւակողմն:
15:2
And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
15:3
եւ անցանեն [248]մինչեւ ի զառ ի վերին Ակրաբիմայ, եւ պատին [249]զՍինաքաւ, եւ վերանան ի հարաւոյ ցԿադէսբառնեա, եւ ելանեն [250]ի Հռովն, եւ ձգին առ Ադդարաւ, եւ պատին առ [251]արեւմտիւքն Կադեսայ:
15:3
And it went out to the south side to Maaleh- acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh- barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
15:4
եւ երթան ցԱսեմոնա, եւ հանեն մինչեւ ցձորն Եգիպտացւոց. եւ եղիցին նոքա ելք սահմանացն ընդ ծովակողմն. [252]այս են նոցա`` սահմանք ի հարաւոյ:
15:4
From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast:
15:5
Եւ սահմանք յարեւելից [253]ամենայն ծովն Աղի մինչեւ ցեզրն Յորդանանու: Եւ սահմանք նոցա ըստ հիւսիսի ի սարոյ ծովուն եւ յեզերէ Յորդանանու:
15:5
And the east border [was] the salt sea, [even] unto the end of Jordan. And [their] border in the north quarter [was] from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
15:6
հասանեն սահմանքն ի Բէթագղա, եւ շրջին առ հիւսիսով ցԲէթարաբա, եւ վերանան սահմանքն առ Բէովն վիմաւ որդւոցն Ռուբենի:
15:6
And the border went up to Beth- hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth- arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
15:7
եւ ելանեն սահմանքն [254]առ չորրորդ մասամբ`` ի ձորոյն Աքովրայ, եւ ընդ [255]հարաւակողմն, եւ իջանեն ի Գաղգաղ, որ է հանդէպ [256]մատուցին Եղոմիմայ, եւ`` ընդ հարաւակողմն. եւ հասանէ սահմանն ի ջուր Արեգ աղբեր, եւ եղիցին նոցա ելք աղբերն Ռովգեղայ:

And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that [is] before the going up to Adummim, which [is] on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En- shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En- rogel:
15:8
եւ ելանեն սահմանքն ի ձոր որդւոցն Ենովմայ ի թիկանց Յեբուսայ ի հարաւոյ, այն է Երուսաղէմ. եւ հասանեն սահմանքն ի գլուխ լերինն որ է հանդէպ ձորոյն Ենովմայ ի ծովակոյս կողմանէ որ է յեզեր երկրին Ռափայնոց ընդ հիւսիսի:

And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same [is] Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
15:9
եւ հանէ սահմանն ի գլխոյ լերինն յաղբեւր ջրոյն Նափովթայ, եւ [257]հատանէ լեառնն Եփրեմի ի Գայի``. եւ հանէ սահմանն ի Բաաղ, այն է քաղաք Յարիմայ:
15:9
And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which [is] Kirjath- jearim:
15:10
եւ պատի սահմանն ի Բաաղայ ընդ ծովակողմն [258]Ասարէս ի լեառնն Սէիր, եւ պատի զթիկամբք քաղաքին Յարիմայ ի հիւսիսոյ, այն է Քասղոն. եւ [259]իջուցանէ յԱրեգ քաղաք, եւ անցանէ ի հարաւ:

And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which [is] Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth- shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

եւ հատանէ սահմանն ի թիկանց Ակկարոնի ընդ հիւսիսի. եւ հանեն սահմանքն ի Սարքայովնայ, եւ անցանեն առ լերամբ երկրին Բաաղայ, եւ հատանեն ցԱբնեղ. եւ եղիցին ելք սահմանաց նոցա ընդ ծովակողմն:

And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea:
15:12
Եւ զսահման նոցա [260]ի ծովէ` ծովն մեծ զատանէ: Այս են սահմանք որդւոցն Յուդայ շուրջանակի` ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց:

And the west border [was] to the great sea, and the coast [thereof]. This [is] the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families:

Եւ Քաղեբայ որդւոյ Յեփոնեայ ետ բաժին ի մէջ որդւոցն Յուդայ հրամանաւ [261]Աստուծոյ. եւ ետ նմա Յեսու զքաղաքն [262]Արբոկ, զմայր քաղաքացն`` Ենակայ, այն է Քեբրոն:

And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, [even] the city of Arba the father of Anak, which [city is] Hebron:

Եւ [263]սատակեաց զնոսա անտի Քաղէբ [264]որդի Յեփոնեայ``, զերիս որդիսն Ենակայ` զՍուսի, զԹողմայի եւ զԱքիման, զծնունդս Ենակայ:

And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak:

Եւ ել անտի Քաղէբ ի վերայ բնակչացն Դաբիրայ. եւ անուն Դաբիրայ էր յառաջագոյն քաղաք Նամակաց:

And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before [was] Kirjath- sepher:
15:16
Եւ ասէ Քաղէբ. Որ ոք առցէ զքաղաքն Նամակաց, եւ տիրեսցէ նմա, տաց նմա զԱքսա դուստր իմ կնութեան:
15:16
And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath- sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife:

Եւ առ զնա Գոթոնիէլ որդի Կենեզի, [265]եղբայր Քաղեբայ կրտսեր``. եւ ետ նմա զԱքսա դուստր իւր կնութեան:

And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife:

Եւ եղեւ յերթալն նորա [266]խորհեցաւ ընդ նա եւ ասէ. Խնդրեցից ի հօրէ իմմէ ագարակ. եւ աղաղակեաց`` յիշոյ անտի: Եւ ասէ ցնա Քաղէբ. Զի՞ է քեզ:

And it came to pass, as she came [unto him], that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off [her] ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou:
15:19
Եւ ասէ ցնա. Տուր ինձ օրհնութիւն. զի յերկիր [267]Նագեբ ետուր զիս, տուր ինձ [268]Գովլաթմայիմ: Եւ ետ նմա Քաղէբ [269]զԳովլաթն վերին եւ [270]զԳովլաթն ներքին:

Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs:

Այս է ժառանգութիւն ցեղի որդւոցն Յուդայ` ըստ տոհմից իւրեանց:

This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families:

Եւ եղեն [271]նոցա քաղաքք. քաղաք առաջին ցեղի որդւոցն Յուդայ ի սահմանս Եդոմայ յանապատին,`` Կասբեէղ եւ Եդրային եւ Յագուր:

And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur:

եւ Կինա եւ Դեմոնա եւ Ադադա:

And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah:

եւ Կադէս եւ [272]Իթնանզիփ:

And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan:

եւ Տէղէմ եւ Բաաղովթ:

Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth:

եւ [273]քաղաքն Ասեբոն, այն է Ասովր:

And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, [and] Hezron, which [is] Hazor:

եւ Եղթովլադ եւ Քուղ եւ Երմա:

And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah:

And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah:

եւ Ղամովթ եւ Սէղէմի եւ [276]Ռեմոն. քաղաքք քսանեւինն եւ աւանք նոցա:

And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities [are] twenty and nine, with their villages:

Ի դաշտավայրս` Եսթաւուղ եւ Սարաա եւ Ասնա, [277]եւ Ռամոն:

And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah:

եւ Զանով եւ [278]Ադիաթեմ եւ Ենայիմ:

And Zanoah, and En- gannim, Tappuah, and Enam:

եւ Յերիմութ եւ Ոդողամ եւ [279]Ներմա եւ`` Սոքով եւ Ազեկա:

եւ Սագարիմ եւ [280]Գադերայ, եւ ագարակք նոցա. քաղաքք չորեքտասանք եւ աւանք նոցա:

And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:

Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal- gad:

Ակկարոն եւ աւանք նորա եւ ագարակք նորա:

եւ յԱկկարոնէ [283]յԷմէն, ամենայն արուարձանք Ասերովդայ, եւ աւանք նոցա եւ ագարակք նոցա:

From Ekron even unto the sea, all that [lay] near Ashdod, with their villages:

[284]Գազա եւ աւանք նորա եւ ագարակք նորա` մինչեւ ցհեղեղատն Եգիպտոսի, եւ ծովն մեծ զատուցանէ:

Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border:

Եւ ի լեռնավայրսն` Սամիր եւ Յեթեր եւ Սովքով:

And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh:

եւ Դեննա [285]եւ լեառնն Ահերմոն,`` եւ քաղաքն [286]Նամակաց` այն է Դաբիր:

And Dannah, and Kirjath- sannah, which [is] Debir:

Kirjath- baal, which [is] Kirjath- jearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:

Բէթբարդիս, եւ`` Բէթարաբա եւ Մադովն եւ Սովքովա:

In the wilderness, Beth- arabah, Middin, and Secacah:

եւ Նեբսան, եւ քաղաքք աղտիցն, եւ Ենգադի. քաղաքք [291]եւթն եւ աւանք նոցա:

And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En- gedi; six cities with their villages:

Եւ Յեբուսացին բնակեալ էր յԵրուսաղէմ, եւ ոչ կարացին որդիքն Յուդայ [292]մարտնչել ընդ նոսա``. եւ բնակեցան Յեբուսացիքն ընդ որդիսն Յուդայ յԵրուսաղէմ մինչեւ ցայսօր:

As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day:
